- How is this different from my TV's built-in screensaver?
- Built-in screensavers usually show stock imagery or a limited set of photos and are awkward to point at your own library. DigiFrame plays the specific photos you curated from your own OneDrive, thins out blurry and duplicate shots, and picks up new pictures as you add them.
- Which smart TVs work?
- Any TV with a web browser — Samsung (Tizen), LG (webOS), Sony and other Google TV sets, Vizio, and Hisense all qualify. If your TV can open a website, it can run DigiFrame TV.
- Where do the photos come from?
- From your own OneDrive. You sign in with Microsoft, choose which photos to include, and they stay in OneDrive the whole time — DigiFrame only stores thumbnails, metadata, and scores.
- Do I need to keep a computer running?
- No. Once DigiFrame TV is signed in on the television, the slideshow runs on the TV itself. You only use your phone or computer to curate photos and to approve the one-time device-code sign-in.
